Marketing is both an art and a science. This presentation will give saavy practice managers the tools they need to effectively measure marketing efforts. By reviewing case scenarios, we will analyze the effectiveness of a specific wellness plan. We will define failed campaigns, review how to accurately measure return on investment and determine if effective campaigns should always yield a positive ROI (return on investment). Attendees will be better equiped to make informed choices about marketing and not just rely on 'gut feeling’. We will also be diving into concepts such as customer lifetime value, calculating fully-loaded expenses, and reactive vs. predictive marketing.

Presenter: Johana Beresky, MBA, CVPM
Johana Beresky is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) with over 15 years of experience in the veterinary industry whose passion is sharing her experiences with other practice managers. She has held leadership positions in both emergency/specialty practices and progressive general practices. Last year she received VHMA's prestigious Emerging Leaders Scholarship and is an active member on their Marketing Committee. Johana is also an active member of the Puget Sound’s American Marketing Association. She completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Cornell University and received her MBA from Pepperdine University, with a focus on Marketing. She is currently working on a nanodegree in Data Analytics.
