Get intermediate to advanced level HR continuing education without the expense of travel!

A mastermind group is a dedicated group of professionals that meet on a regular basis to discuss issues important to them. VHMA peer-to-peer Mastermind Groups are typically led by a thought leader who moderates discussions and facilities organization of the group.

Due to popular demand VHMA is please to announce the launch of our third Human Resources (HR) Mastermind Group facilitated by Lori Kleinman, SPHR, SHRM-SCP - a Human Resource thought leader/speaker/author.

The VHMA HR Mastermind Group will run for a six-month term, May 2018 to October 2018 and will meet live online monthly for 90 minutes each month. Meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of each month.

Each monthly meeting will include: a presentation on a special topic of interest to the group for 30 minutes; discussion on HR issues that participants are currently facing; as well as other relevant HR policies, tools or issues specific to the monthly topic.

VHMA's HR Mastermind group members would also belong to a private community within VHMA's MemberConnect to communicate and share resources throughout the six month term.

Participation in the group will allow members to:

• Find real, practical solutions to their practices top challenges
• Quickly tap into a pool of time and cost saving resources
• Keep updated on compliance and regulations that affect their practices
• Learn what to do – and what not to do – from other VHMA professionals who have experienced the same issues
• Get the perspective of a variety of HR experts
• Receive advice on how to run their operations more efficiently

Wednesday, May 9, 2018 - 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. EST

Wednesday, June 13, 2018 - 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. EST

Wednesday, July 11, 2018 - 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. EST

Wednesday, August 8, 2018 - 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. EST

Wednesday, September 12, 2018 - 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. EST

Wednesday, October 10, 2018 - 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. EST

1.5 continuing education credits will be available monthly (9 continuing education hours for the full program). In addition, anyone certified through SHRM or HRCI would receive credit through those organizations as well. Attendance will be taken at each meeting.

The agenda of topics will be determined by the group's participants but anticipated topics would be:
•    Compliance
•    Recruiting
•    Retention
•    Performance management 
•    Compensation
•    Human Resource Technology

Please note that group discussion relating to laws and regulations is focused on U.S. law only.
