Adding Urgent Care Services – Making a Case for It

Thursday, April 20, 2023

1:00 to 2:30 p.m. ET

The past few years have presented opportunities to the veterinary industry like never before. Emergency practices are struggling with overwhelming caseloads, and general practices are booked several weeks to months out. It’s time to reconsider our practice model and service offerings to meet our community’s needs better. Learn why your practice should offer urgent care and how to develop this service to benefit your staff and the creatures (both human and animal) that you serve.

In this webinar, you will learn the following:

  • How to efficiently assess the needs of your community
  • How to determine the cash-money cost of this investment as well as the value to your stakeholders
  • How to create a tailored plan to complement your current business model
  • Advice from practice managers that have implemented new urgent care services

Speaker:  Allison Rye, LVT, CVPM

Allison Rye, LVT, CVPM, is the Hospital Administrator at Bay Beach Veterinary Hospital and Bay Beach Veterinary Emergency Hospital, a general practice and emergency practice, respectively, in Virginia Beach, VA.
