WEBINAR: Authenticity Matters

When:  Aug 6, 2020 from 13:00 to 14:00 (ET)
WEBINAR: Authenticity Matters
Thursday, August 6, 2020
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST

There’s a fundamental rule in marketing: you can’t be all things to all people. Intellectually, the principle makes sense; however, many of us continue to justify actions that contradict this tenant with messaging that is crafted to appeal to broad and diverse audiences. When we do this, we convey watered-down messages that resonate with no one. Now, more than ever, our marketing efforts must say exactly what we mean and represent our authentic selves. Clients, as well as our teams, deserve to receive targeted and cohesive communications. Join us as we highlight best practices that have quieted the noise and drilled down on defining authenticity.

This presentation pulls highlights and tools from the VHMA/PVU Management Essentials program - Reputation Management.

Guest Speaker: Carol Hurst, LVT, CVPM, CVJ
Carol has been in the veterinary industry since 2005 when she graduated tech school and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Even more than helping furred and feathered friends, she found that she enjoyed being able to affect the positive change within her clinic that having a leadership role afforded her. She managed for twelve years. After many years of study, she earned the designation as a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) in November of 2017. Her proudest accomplishment is the work that she’s performed for her local management group. She has been a member since 2010 and served as the President up until December 2019. In 2018 she started as an instructor for Patterson University’s courses and in 2019 she joined forces with the team at VetSupport, taking on a role as a full-time consultant.
