WEBINAR: Charting a Path to a Living Wage for all Employees
Thursday, February 6, 2020
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST

Would you like to pay employees more? Of course, you would! The ability to increase team wages comes from engaged and efficient employees and the implementation of intentional financial management. Most of your employees were attracted to this profession because of their love for animals and not because it is a “well paying” career. As stewards of the profession, it is up to us to provide an environment where our team can be productive, continue this rewarding work, and earn wages that pay for the basics of living– housing, food, childcare, clothing, health care, transportation, and other necessities. If the answer to increasing wage rates were simple, everyone would be well on their way to financial stability! A successful financial plan must involve a combination of employee engagement, operational efficiency, and fees that support your wage goals.

Objective: Attendees will learn how to evaluate their practice profitability and receive tools for the implementation of a plan towards increased profitability and a competitive wage structure for their practice.

This presentation pulls highlights and tools from the VHMA/PVU Management Essentials program - Finance Management.
