I just had this happen for the first time. I text and left a voice mail for the employee stating, “Your no call/no show is considered voluntary resignation of your position. Your final paycheck is here to be picked up or can me mailed if you prefer”. It has been 10 days and still no contact. I had account direct deposit her last check. I’m now fighting unemployment because she claims we gave an ultimatum and made her quit which is untrue.
