Roundtable Discussions

Roundtable Discussions

Roundtable Discussions are among the most flexible and informal educational formats offered by VHMA. Roundtable Discussions allow for extended discussion among a small cohort of professional colleagues. Roundtable Discussions are excellent venues for giving and receiving targeted feedback, engaging in in-depth discussions, and meeting colleagues with similar interests. These events are indented to create an opportunity for peer-to-peer discussion among a group of colleagues currently active in day-to-day hospital management.

To facilitate Roundtable Discussions, attendees will be broken up into groups of 10-15 individuals per breakout room. Pre-determined topics are assigned. A moderator is assigned to each room. Discussion are time-limited (based on the total number of attendees and topics) and may range from 15 to 30 minutes per topic.

Participants must turn on their camera to participate.

A Zoom account is required, a free licensed version will work.

Roundtable Discussions offer limited participation and will not be recorded.

One hour of continuing education will be awarded

To ensure the best possible experience for all attendees, we have established some basic rules for event participation. The goal is to preserve a climate that encourages civil and professional dialogue, VHMA reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to VHMA events for anyone who violates these rules.

VHMA Roundtable Discussions are a free benefit of membership.
