Criteria to Participate
The award nomination requires an essay of up to 750 words detailing why the management professional should be selected for the award and how the nominee has transformed their veterinary practice. Transformation can be related to a financial, staff and team, practice organization, cultural, marketing, etc. impact. The essay can be submitted by either a nominator or a nominee (self-nomination).
For Nominators – Be sure to describe in qualitative (impacts that can’t not specifically be measured) and/or quantitative (measured or tracked impacts) terms the impact the nominee has made from your perspective?
For Nominees (self-nominations) – Be sure to describe the qualitative (impacts that can’t not be specifically measured) and/or quantitative (measured or tracked impacts) terms of how you transformed the practice?
This award it available to both VHMA members and nonmembers.
The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, March 15.
Candidates will be evaluated on the following factors: impact on staff, pets and ownership, action/impact correlation, significance of impact and ingenuity/innovation.
