Putting an End to Meaningless Meetings
Unproductive meetings are a major dissatisfier, resulting in wasted time, wasted effort, and frustrated staff. This highly informative presentation is designed to put an end to the prevalent issue of ineffective and unnecessary meetings that is commonly observed in the veterinary industry. The presentation will introduce specific methods and customized meeting tools that will assist attendees in making their clinic meetings beneficial and productive. At the end of the session, attendees will have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to manage their staff and run effective, valuable meetings effectively.
Lisa Leary, M.S.
Lisa Leary, MS, is an educator and strategist with a passion for creating meaningful change and helping organizations achieve greater success and productivity. Through working with leadership teams and staff, she has led collaborative efforts to build strong, reliable, and efficient infrastructures so organizations can achieve their best. She has successfully worked with multiple organizations using Lean Six Sigma and Microsystems methodology to reduce waste, increase revenue, and empower staff to both do the work and improve the work. Lisa equips teams to diagnose and treat their systems using innovative, cost-effective solutions. She has published and presented on a variety of topics, including using microsystems for practice transformation, measurement fundamentals for quality improvement, and defining and understanding quality in nursing home settings. Lisa holds a master’s degree in Evaluative Clinical Science from Dartmouth College and is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. She brings over 15 years of experience in process improvement and practice transformation through her work in healthcare, humane organizations, and other non-profit agencies.
