Does anyone stipulate in their policy manual that employees are limited when it comes to the amount of unpaid leave that they are allowed to take? We find that we have a lot of staff taking unpaid leave. If you do, then do you differentiate between part and full timers? We recently had a part timer take 2 weeks unpaid leave and I know she would be very upset if we now told her that she could only take 1 week per year. I would love to hear how other practices manage this.
