Alachua, Fl. – The Veterinary Hospital Manager Association (VHMA) is pleased to share that the recipient of the 2024 President's Award is Patrick Keefe. This prestigious award celebrates members and supporters who have effected positive change and enhanced the association's standing. The award was announced at VHMA's “Racing Towards Success" Conference held in Charlotte, NC, in September.
“This award is coming from the industry I know and love. I can't thank them enough for this incredible honor,” said Patrick Keefe, National Sales Manager of Veterinary Health at CareCredit.
His career has spanned 22 years with CareCredit, with 16 of those years devoted to veterinary health. Keefe is a dedicated financial supporter of VHMA critical initiatives, the annual conference, and scholarships. CareCredit was one of VHMA's first Platinum Sponsors in 2014 and has been a sponsor since 2012.
“VHMA is producing healthier practices and adds so much knowledge to the profession. At CareCredit, we know the value of a better-run business side of a practice,” said Keefe.
He also understands the value of the CVPM certification, offered through VHMA, to support practice managers.
“Managers wear a different hat every moment of the day,” said Keefe. “CVPMs not only help their own practice, but they also consult and help other practices and speak at conferences on topics people need to hear to improve the business side of the practice.”
The VHMA is grateful for Keefe's ongoing support of hospital managers.
“As the VHMA has identified critical issues and launched several initiatives, you and CareCredit have supported the VHMA and our membership. Congratulations on your honor,” said Scott Zimmerman, VHMA President.
