
ALACHUA, FL — In a dynamic collaboration between Veterinary Management Groups (VMG), Zoetis, and the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA), five outstanding veterinary professionals have been awarded scholarships to pursue the esteemed Certified Veterinary Practice Management (CVPM) certification—the pinnacle of achievement in veterinary management.
The CVPM certification program, facilitated by the VHMA, signifies a candidate's expertise and proficiency in navigating the evolving landscape of veterinary business management. To earn this certification, candidates must demonstrate extensive experience and knowledge and successfully complete a rigorous examination.
The recipients of the 2025 VMG scholarships are: Melissa Robertson from Old Dominion Equine Associates in Keswick, VA; Melissa Germano from Rocky Point Animal Hospital in Rocky Point, NY; Reagan Peles from 43rd Avenue Animal Hospital in Glendale, AZ; Misty Wilson from Lenoir City Animal Clinic in Lenoir City, TN; and Laura Romero from Tampa Bay Veterinary Group in Lutz, FL.
About the VMG Scholarship
The VMG Scholarship is awarded to managers employed by veterinary hospitals belonging to Veterinary Management Groups (VMG's) whose professionalism, expertise, and commitment will be enhanced with CVPM certification. The scholarship includes coverage of the exam fee, complimentary registration for VHMA's eleven-week Test Preparation Program, a print copy of the CVPM Preparation Workbook, access to digital flashcards, two VHMA Empower U Self-Assessment exams, $1,000 for recommended reading materials, and a one-year complimentary VHMA membership.
